Jimmy Hung Thousand Winds EP

The first EP of Jimmy Hung: Thousand Winds - released after great response as the ending song of  那年,雨不停國 Year of the Rain

I know it has been pretty long since the EP came out but I just purchased it from Smash and Grab Productions (SAG Prod) online last month! It was my first online purchase =) I raved about this song a couple of times on this blog already, especially when associated to 那年,雨不停國 Year of the Rain. So when I finally got it this afternoon, you can imagine how happy and excited I was!

My thin but precious package!

This is (technically however) not the EP that I ordered because the one I purchased got lost during delivery. After waiting patiently but with much anticipation for a month plus, I emailed the store to inquire about my order status. In their quick first response itself, the store apologized for the wait, deduced that the delivery probably got lost along the way and initiated to send me a new one the following day. I was pleasantly surprised by not just the positive feedback but the immediacy of the response as well. I was told the package would take 5 days to reach my place =)

Sent from through Republic of China Postage on December 20, 2011.

I told myself 5 days for a USD3 delivery from Taiwan through the national couriers would be a little too soon so I didn't keep the arrival date in mind. But guess who was taking note? SAG Prod! Smashstore (the online store of SAG Prod) sent me an email exactly 5 days after they shipped it out of their office! Talk about excellent customer service! They may have only done the most basic of customer service but this is a real-life evident of how little sweet gestures like this can turn a, by right, rage customer into an engaged customer - plus a lot of points earned in a customer's lifetime value too! I'm so proud of my all-time favourite idol (a.k.a. my celebrity crush), whose EP I bought and who owns this production company. And of course, good job by the staff who attended me =)

Smash and Grab Productions, yo!

When my grandmother came into my room saying there's a postman looking for someone she doesn't know, I knew it at once the package is here! I ran downstairs and with much anxiety checked the name on the parcel: Miss Kok Yen Tan. Oh yes!! =D Although it was 4 days late from expected delivery date, I didn't mind it at all. In fact, I wasn't even counting the days because to me, as long as it arrives, it'll be one the of the best "gifts" I received. Even better, when my grandmother listened to the song, her first response was, "Why does it sound like a song for the dead?" LOL! It is in fact a mourning song for the victims of a Taiwanese typhoon! Great job, Jimmy (who composed, written and sang the song)! My grandmother doesn't understand English but could tell right away!

I am a happy girl =) Best New Year gift ever!

The package came with a promotional leaflet of Jimmy's first movie, which I am still waiting to watch!
