Fayette House Reunion @ Levain 2011

Assorted macaroons at Levain! Everyone loved coffee the most <3
I spent almost 365 days of my life last year surrounded by an awesome team of people to not just organize a handful of the biggest events in college, but bring a bucketful of other goodness to our coursemates. We came in with differences at the beginning of the year but made used of those uniqueness to bring synergy to the team. Through thick and thin, we survived and later came out of the whole journey a lot stronger, better and awesome-r. That's Fayette House 2010.

Seven out of eleven officers of Fayette House 2010!

It's almost eleven months after we went our separate ways. In the recent weeks, I have been dragging a random few of them into "we were busy with...at this time of the year last year" conversations. Thus, needless to say, the reunion at Levain this afternoon made the reminisces more satisfying and fulfilling, especially with the same old jokers, great food and incredible ambiance =)

Meet Jo, the macaroon lover who brought us to Levain!

Sh, the thick-faced dude that tried to court toll operators on the way to Levain =X

Ra, the co-mastermind of this awesome reunion!

Pe, the dude who is paying for out next reunion at Fukuya! XD

Ch, who is annoyed by jealous spammers on our macaroon photo on Facebook!

Yi who tied her hair up and we barely could recognize =P

Je, who tagged along! She's not part of Fayette House 2010 but she's our senior from the 2009 batch yo!

My sandwich! The chicken cutlets were nice~

Angry bird, anyone? Sh made this himself. It's actually two pieces of bread but he bit the pointed one half off and stuck it on the other one as nose. Not bad huh?

The super delicious tiramisu~!

I'm not a fan of spaghetti but I kind of like the spaghetti there!

This graduation season has made me think of my graduation so much that I thought this piece of chocolate looks like a graduation hat.

The birthday girl! We were supposed to have another two guy officers who have their birthdays on the same day but they couldn't make it. It's incredible how we had three officers born less than 24 hours apart.

Handmade macaroon handset accessories! JN made these for her college project so I thought they were perfect gifts so all the ladies got one!

The only two guys who were present went into bromance mode on their own since they had no gifts. LOL.
Levain is definitely a nice place to chill out with friends over drinks, meals or desserts. The environment is very cozy and the food is nice. The price is pretty reasonable as well for western food. Actually, I wondered if the food was really all so good today or the great company just made everything seemed so good. Haha. But anyway, for those who have never been there, go! You'll most likely like it.

The counter from the first floor.

The lovely bakery. It reminds me of the Korean drama I watched the other day: King of Baking, Kim Tak Goo.

The parking space may be limited but with RM2 jockey service, you can have a peace of mind while dining. *lookatthecarplates*

Signing off, the Boss. Or more accurately, the Ex-boss =)
